What is the recovery and results process like after revision rhinoplasty?
You will usually notice a significant improvement once the splint and dressings are removed within the first 1–2 weeks after surgery.
However, revision rhinoplasty involves more complex tissue healing than primary rhinoplasty, particularly where scar tissue is present. Residual swelling can take time to fully settle, especially around the nasal tip.
This means that the final refined result may continue to develop over 12–18 months.
Will I need cartilage grafts after revision rhinoplasty surgery?
